3 minute read

Racing Queensland offers its sincerest condolences to the family of Pat O’Shea, who died overnight aged 64.

Mr O’Shea, who called the Weetwood on 29 occasions, was a much-loved member of the Queensland racing community, particularly in Toowoomba.

Racing Queensland Acting CEO Ian Hall said Mr O’Shea would be sorely missed in racing after making an incredible contribution to the industry he loved.

“Pat was not only passionate about racing, he was a great ambassador for our sport,” Mr Hall said.

“I would like to pass on my condolences to Pat’s wife Cecile, son James and daughters Kate and Karen on behalf of all at Racing Queensland.”
