Post race reports from recent Sydney meetings.

WARWICK FARM – December 23

RACE 2: Kelvinside’s trainer David Lee reported the gelding had pulled up well and, although he advised it was his intention to spell Kelvinside, after consulting with connections he will race the gelding on New Years' Day at Randwick. Lee advised Kelvinside will have the blinkers removed and be back in distance.

Highdin’s co-trainer Peter Snowden advised that the filly had pulled up with no abnormalities and now had been transferred from his stable.

RACE 6: Nazir’s trainer James Cummings advised the gelding had now been spelled.

RACE 7: Baites’s trainer Fred Hayes reported the gelding had pulled up well with no abnormalities following its disappointing performance. Hayes was advised a veterinary clearance would be required prior to Baites racing again.

ROSEHILL December 19

RACE 5: Trainer Gerald Ryan reported that Baggio had pulled up with no abnormalities subsequent to the race and he would continue with its preparation.

RACE 7: Trainer Gerald Ryan reported that following Brewery being found to have cardiac arrhythmia, the arrhythmia had failed to correct and required treatment today. Having regard to the arrhythmia taking some time to correct and requiring treatment, the Stewards additionally ruled that an echocardiograph will be required prior to Brewery barrier trialling before the Stewards.

RACE 9: Trainer Gerald Ryan stated that Mahican had pulled up with no abnormalities subsequent to the race and he would continue with its preparation.
