Post race horse reports from recent meetings.

ROSEHILL January 30

RACE 4: Mark Newnham representing Gai Waterhouse reported that So Serene had pulled up well.

RACE 5: Trainer Chris Waller reported that Laucala pulled up well and a veterinary examination had not revealed any abnormality. His intention will be to step Laucala up in distance at its next start.

Co-trainer Paul Snowden stated that Yulong Ambition had recovered well from a hoof injury and consideration will be given to trialling Yulong Ambition. Snowden was asked to provide a veterinary clearance prior to its next start.

RACE 4: Mark Newnham representing Gai Waterhouse reported that Helford River has left the stable.

RACE 7: Ready Already – Mark Newnham representing Gai Waterhouse reported that Ready Already had pulled up well following its disappointing performance.

RANDWICK – January 26

Race 2: Cul De Sac – trainer John O'Shea reported the colt had pulled up well and offered the rain affected track as the principal reason for the disappointing performance.

Race 5: Van Halen – trainer Danny Williams reported the gelding had pulled up well and indicated that the wet track and overracing were the principal factors in its disappointing performance.

WYONG – January 24

Race 4: Austrian – the Waller stable reported to stewards that on return to the stables the gelding was found to have blood from one nostril. As this was the third occasion that Austrian was found to have blood present in one nostril following a race, Waller was advised that the stable should now undertake exploratory endoscopy of the upper respiratory tract to determine the possibility of a pre-existing lesion. Waller was also advised that the gelding would be required to barrier trial or gallop over 1000m in the presence of Stewards prior to racing again.

Race 5: Positive Problem – stable representative J Bruce advised that the filly would now be spelled.

Race 7: Tilly's Waltz – trainer Ms P Webber could offer no explanation for the performance of the mare, which had pulled up well. Ms Webber was advised Tilly's Waltz must brrier trial to the satisfaction of the Stewards prior to racing again.

RANDWICK – January 23

Race 1: Top Score – stable representative G McRae reported the colt had pulled up well following the performance and the stable would look to continue on with its preparation.

Shacked Up – trainer Gerald Ryan advised that the filly had pulled up well and a veterinary examination, including an endoscopic examination, had not revealed any abnormalities.

Race 2: Snow Surrender – stable representative H Devlin reported the filly had pulled up well and the stable would look to continue with its preparation and avoid heavy tracks.

Race 4: Bold Circle – An inquiry continued into the late withdrawal of Bold Circle when trainer David Payne was interviewed relative to a condition to the offside eye, which was observed by officials when the gelding came on course. Payne pleaded guilty to a charge under AR140(a)(ii)(b) of having failed to report a condition and was fined the sum of $400. Payne was also issued with a reprimand for failing to have recorded in his treatment book that an antibiotic ointment was applied to the offside eye of Bold Circle on the afternoon of January 22.

Wild 'N' Famous – co-trainer Paul Snowden advised the gelding had pulled up well with no abnormalities and the intention was to continue on with its preparation.

Race 7: Herne's Oak – stable representative J Bruce advised that the gelding had pulled up well and, in his opinion, had not handled the rain affected conditions.

Chestnut Road – trainer David Pfieffer reported the gelding had pulled up well and he would continue with its preparation.

Race 9: Loving Home – trainer Chris Waller advised that the gelding had pulled up well and attributed the performance to the soft track conditions.

Race 3: Glendalough - trainer Clinton McDonald advised that the gelding has pulled up well and is continuing on.

MOONEE VALLEY January 23

Race 2: Tri Harda - trainer Kathryn Durden has confirmed the filly has pulled up without any issues and will now be spelled.

Race 4: Big Don - the stable of trainer David Hayes have advised that the gelding pulled up well and is continuing on.

Race 6: Tucanchoo - the Hawkes stable have advised the gelding pulled up well and will continue on with its preparation.

Race 7: Sirbible - trainer Russell Bell confirmed that the gelding pulled up fine and is going to be racing in Adelaide.

Race 8: Roll the Ignition - trainer Mathew Ellerton has advised that the mare has pulled up well and is continuing on.

Race 9: Rationality - trainer Phillip Stokes has advised that the mare has gone to the paddock for a four week spell.

Prepee - trainer Neil Pfeiffer has confirmed that the mare pulled up well and is continuing on.

GREAT WESTERN January 24

Race 3 - Olympic Flyer - trainer Rod Symons has confirmed that the gelding has pulled up slightly sore in his shins and will be moving on from his stable.

SALE January 24

Race 3: Falsified - trainer Gary McGreal has advised that the mare has gone for a spell.

CAULFIELD January 26

Race 3 - Cha Chang - trainer Ciaron Maher has confirmed that the colt has pulled up fine but will now be spelled.

Race 5 - Praecereus - the stable of trainer Peter Moody have confirmed that the gelding pulled up well but has gone for a spell.

Kracken - the stable of trainer Mr Darren Weir have confirmed the gelding has now gone for a spell.

Race 6 - Bajour - the stable of trainer Danny O’Brien confirmed that the gelding has now gone for a spell.

Race 8 - Boomwa - trainer Henry Dwyer advised that the gelding is fine but is having a freshen up for the next few weeks.
