Post race horse reports from recent Sydney race meetings.

WARWICK FARM March 28

RACE 5: Stable representative C Duckworth reported that Dubaiinstyle had pulled up well and the stable intends to remove the blinkers.

ROSEHILL March 26

RACE 2: Rock And Swing – trainer James Cummings reported that the colt has been spelled.

RACE 4: Trainer Gerald Ryan reported that a veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities and it is his intention to continue on with Angel Beach's campaign.

RACE 5: Man Of Choice – trainer Luke Price reported that the gelding was showing signs of having jarred up in the days following the race. A veterinary examination, including scans of the nearside front leg did not detect any abnormalities. Price said it is his intention to freshen up Man Of Choice and drop it back in distance. Price was advised that Man Of Choice must barrier trial to the satisfaction of the Stewards prior to racing again.

RACE 7: Our Ivanhowe – co-trainer Lee Freedman reported further veterinary examinations conducted in Melbourne did not reveal any serious issues to the off fore leg other than tenderness to that hoof. Freedman undertook to provide a copy of the veterinary report.

Mongolian Khan – the stewards today spoke to trainer Murray Baker regarding the immediate racing future of the horse. Baker stated that a full veterinary examination of Mongolian Khan had not revealed any abnormality and he attributed the poor performance to the gelding striking interference on the turn out of the straight and then having to travel wide in the run. Baker advised that Mongolian Khan had pulled up well and had pleased in its work and he said he will return to Sydney this week to oversee its preparation before a decision is made in the next few days as to whether the horse pushes on to the Queen Elizabeth Stakes.

RACE 8: Solicit – trainer Gerald Ryan reported that the mare had pulled up sore behind and advised that the mare will be retired.

ROSEHILL March 19

Race 5: Turn Me Loose – trainer Mr M Baker advised a full veterinary examination had not revealed any abnormalities and it was the stable's intention to push on to the Doncaster.

Race 7: Flying Artie – trainer Mick Price reported the colt will be spelled.

Extreme Choice – trainer Mick Price reported the colt was displaying muscle soreness over the nearside hind subsequent to the race and has been spelled.
