Magic Millions Sponsors Kingston Town Classic

Perth Racing has secured Magic Millions as the new naming rights sponsor of the $1 million Kingston Town Classic at Ascot in December.

The Group One race is the final leg of the TABtouch Masters.

“The TABtouch Masters was the breakout hit of Australian thoroughbred racing last season and Magic Millions is delighted to be part of its second edition sponsoring the Kingston Town Classic,” said Vin Cox, managing director Magic Millions.

“Magic Millions has a rich history in Western Australia via its annual Perth Yearling Sale conducted each February and strong connections throughout the domestic and international thoroughbred racing industries.

“It’s great to have the opportunity to partner with Perth Racing.”

The $1 million Magic Millions Kingston Town Classic is the southern hemisphere’s richest Group One evnt over 1800 metres.

The TABtouch Masters is the world’s only single track thoroughbred racing festival featuring a Group One race worth at least $1 million on three consecutive Saturdays.

The $1 million James Boag’s Premium Railway Stakes (1600m), Perth’s oldest Group One race, will get The TABtouch Masters underway on Saturday 25 November.

The $1 million Crown Perth Winterbottom Stakes (1200m), Australia’s last Group One sprint of the year, will be the second feature of The TABtouch Masters on Saturday 2 December.

The $1 million Magic Millions Kingston Town Classic will wrap up The TABtouch Masters on Saturday 9 December.

Magic Millions sales graduate Stratum Star won last year’s running of the Kingston Town Classic.

Last year’s inaugural three-day festival drew more than 26,000 people to Ascot racecourse.
