The HG Bolton Sprint is a Listed race highlighting the Belmont program on the weekend.

It is a wide open betting race on another quite damp surface and so we'll take some value in the form of Outrageous.

Assuming he starts, his runs when in WA have been more than acceptable and when not there were excuses.

Fifth in the Winterbottom and fourth in the Scenic Blast were lovely efforts and he pulled up in the Pinjarra Classic with an elevated heart rate so just ignore that.

If they want to run him on a wet track first up, he's by All Too Hard who are very capable horses on affected ground.

We're going to get maybe 20s on the day to find out each way.

We do like the way Nero King has been attacking the line in his three outings and the softer going is no issue whatsoever.

If anything running again so soon off a mile run here could set him up well should it become a real slog through the day.

He will be sitting around midfield most of the way and then peeling out. In a race of not many hopes despite the field size, happy to play him here.
