The last Saturday meeting of the year in Sydney as we aim to go out with a bang.

Looking to play late in the card this Saturday with my two best and I think Midnight In Tokyo looks well placed in Race 9.

She is also in two races in Brisbane so she might scratch but if here, she looks the one to beat.

Her form this time in has been consistently good with a peak rating of 99 and looks to have found a pretty thin race to come down to Sydney to contest, especially in a race that lacks a bit of tempo.

She has the speed to land just behind the speed from barrier 7 and the $6.50 with bet365 leading the market looks good shopping.

Nothing at huge odds this week but the other bet I'll be having is Charterhouse in Race 7 who comes through the best race having finished midfield in the Ingham here last time out.

The sectionals from a hopeless spot weren't bad on that occasion in the field of 20 and this presents as a very different set up.

He may want a more testing mile than this is likely to be but from barrier two with no speed engaged he should be much closer and the win in the Cranbourne Cup prior rated well for this level.
