We head to Rosehill on Saturday for a good betting card.
Looking to play late in the card this Saturday, mainly owing to the fact we've got two highways and a midway, but Race 8 sees Ka Bling go around and look incredibly well placed.
He had the right run at Newcastle two starts back but did beat Acquitted who has gone on and bolted in with a pair of listed races in Queenland, before Ka Bling himself tried his hand in the $300,000 Magic Millions Buffering at Doomben last time out.
I thought his effort there was very good, beaten 2.7 lengths by the smart Tamerlane and running to a slight new peak of 102.
He now comes back to a benchmark 100 and gets in with just 52.5kg despite winning a benchmark 94 at Newcastle with 53kg.
He rates very highly on our weight-adjusted scale, looks to land in front with no pressure and no weight and I'm surprised he's not close to odds-on in this. Keen to play.
The other bet on the card I'll be having is in Race 6 with Too Much Caviar looking a likely improver second up.
He was actually quite well backed first up over 1800m but after doing a bit of work early he faded to finish seventh. He's a decent horse on his day, up to winning a pretty low benchmark 78 and this race looks to set up well for him with little pressure.
Expect he finds the front over the 2000m and if he improves as I think he will I think the double figures is fair enough with bet365 leading the market at $11.
