Best Bet's for a bumper 12-race card for Saturday racing at Ascot.

The abandonment of Belmont on Thursday has seen Ascot become a mammoth 12-race card out west.

With a few maidens kicking things off, the juvenile race looks a cracker ahead of the Magic Millions meeting at Pinjarra in a fortnight, and plenty of competitive racing right across the card.

One horse that caught the eye in early markets is the Luke Fernie-trained RUMBA RHYTHM in race 5 on the card.

The daughter of Toronado was very impressive late in the race over 1000m first-up where she looked as though she was run off her feet over the sprint trip.

Sectionals say she was one of the fastest finishers in that race though and ticks plenty of boxes as she rises to 1400m for the first time.

Clint Johnston-Porter is striking at 30% from his last 50 rides and looks a key component to her chances as he replaces the apprentice hoop, while the Fernie barn is striking at 18% from his last 50 runners.

She rates right up to Premium Girl and Memory Parade who are first and second pick in the market at the time of writing, and with the feeling she'll explode getting out in trip, she's the one I want to be with.

Next best on the card comes up in the 2YO feature of the day, where the Simon Miller-trained and Coolmore owned GOLDEN VALE.

Heading toward's the Magic Millions at Pinjarra in a fortnight's time, she already rates up to a standard winner of the WA 2YO Classic.

She won impressively at her debut over this course and distance and the booking of Holly Watson isn't an issue, as Watson had trialled the daughter of Churchill prior to her debut.

Her recent trial was right alongside last week's juvenile winner Glasgow Lass which reads well for this and she can track Sinful Living across from the draw.

Golden Vale and Sinful Living have the same peak rating with Racing and Sports, but the former is getting 1.5kg off her rival in Saturday's event.

The daughter of Churchill can return a winner and stand up as WA's best 2YO heading into their feature events.
