Qeyaady ready to land the winning blow after two narrow defeats.

After being denied narrowly in his last two, the Michael Hickmott-trained Qeyaady looks set to strike through and is this week's bet365 best bet.

This five-year-old son of I Am Invincible has built nicely into this campaign and can be considered unlucky not to have yet recorded a success, this time in work. Recording a Racing and Sports rating of 91 here last start, when missing by a whisker, that figure is the highest he's been able to produce since scoring at Sandown-Hillside back in 2021 (97). The return to form hasn't come out of the blue though, with the gelding posting a rating of 88 to launch his preparation back in November, when missing by a length over the 955m at Moonee Valley.

Only having to hold his form to be putting himself in the finish, Qeyaddy shoulders a handy record over the track and trip and takes benefit from reuniting with Jessica Eaton, who partnered the gelding in his last win.

As for the value play, we look to earlier in the card where Impossible Action from the sharp R & C Jolly barn presents a great each way chance.

Although not saluting in a long while (574 days), Impossible Action showed plenty of ticker here at the latest when battling on gamely into fourth, after leading up the second group of runners behind a ridiculously run tempo. The four-year-old later revealed a poor post-race recovery and heat stress, making his run even more meritable. Leading rider in Jake Toeroek sticks and gets in 3kgs lighter at the weights. Cherry-ripe to play a major role with the three runs under his belt.
