Morphettville Parks Races Review on 15th July 2023

The four-year-old Pegasi brought up his second win this time in when he took out the 1000 metre on the Parks track at Morphettville on Saturday.

Being under the care of Travis Doudle and ridden to victory by Todd Pannell Pegasi  was well placed.

Travis Doudle brought up and early double when his charge Jaguary took ou the 1950 metre second race.

Winning his tenth race since joining the Doudle stable, the apprentice Alana Livesey ridden Jaguary settled well and maintained a forward position.

Training in partnership with his son Calvin Tony McEvoy brought up his fifth win in the listed Oaklands Plate when Coco Sun was successful.

Ridden by apprentice Ben Price Coco Sun settled in a midfield position before unleashing a very strong spurt late in the event, with McEvoy senior saying the filly could be a good thing for juvenile races in the spring.

Wild Imagination landed his second win in a row when he took out the 1550 metre fourth race.

Being under the care of Richard and Chantelle Jolly the Jake Toeroek ridden Wild Imagination was in the first two throughout the event.

Ben Price landed his second winner for the day when Lord Luker took put the 1400 metre fifth race.

Prepared by the joint partnership of Will Clarken and Niki O'Shea, Lord Luker came from a worse than midfield position late in the event.

Jake Toeroek landed his second winner for the day when his mount Cold Case took out the 1250 metre  sixth race.

Giving the training partnership of Richard and Chantele Jolly their second winner for the day Cold Case came from a rearward position with a withering run over the concluding stages and defeated stablemate Whatsanamegeorge.

The equine version of Storm Hunter may have put the writing on the wall for Storm Hunter winning the ladies final at Wimbledon when he took out the 1550 metre seventh race.

Giving apprentice Alana Livesey her second success for the day the Daniel Clarken and Oopy MacGillivray prepared Storm Hunter came from a better than midfield position to bring up win three from eleven starts.

Alana Livesey brought up her third winner for the day when Merchant Boss took out the 1000 metre eighth race.

Giving his trainer Travis Doudle his third winner for the day Merchant Boss was in the first five before recording a convincing win.

Ben Price brought up his third winner for the day when he rode Jean Valjean to a win in the 1000 metre event.

Giving the training combination of Will Clarken and Niki O'Shea a double Jean Valjean came from a rearward position with a strong run late in the event.
