Race Synopsis:Godolphin-raced filly Laburnum showed good early pace from her wide barrier (12) and Kathy O'Hara soon brought her across to settle outside the leader (Ragazze). She went to the front on turning for home and fought back to score by a very narrow margin in a game performance. The favourite Into The Abyss had a nice trip in seventh place, on the rails, from her inside barrier (1). She looked for clear running on straightening, got a split at the 200m and came with a strong late bid to miss by the barest of margins for second. So Taken settled in second last place in the 13-horse field, went widest of all on turning for home and ran on really well for a close-up third.
