Race Synopsis:Group or Listed placed five times in 11 previous starts, Humma Humma deserved this breakthrough stakes win and scored a game win here, her career third. She led briefly from the jump but was denied the rail and had to sit just back of the leader all the way to the top of the straight. She challenged from the 300m and took over at the 200m, ran about for a couple of strides but balanced again then kept going gamely to the line to hold on by a half head. Behemoth was struck midfield on the fence from the 600m, hugged the fence rounding into the home straight then got a run through along the inside. He went hard at the leader but came up a shade short from Anjana, who was fourth turning in and kept going solidly to the line, the first three clear of the rest.
