Fuchsia Bandana enjoyed a lovely ran in second position on the quarters of the leader Express Service. She asserted at the 250m and drew right away to score a strong win. Miss Rose De Lago raced on the back of the winner in third position in the run. She over raced a little in the run and moved up three wide from the 600m. She battled on strongly in the straight but could not match the winners turn of foot, staying on at one pace to hold second. She had every possible chance.
