London Line had a nice trip in fourth place, one out and one back. He improved well (three deep) rounding the home turn, got to the front at the 100m and battled on for a good win. Man Booker raced in fifth place, caught three wide without cover, but the pace was moderate (first 800m 50.41). He moved up on turning for home, challenged at the 100m and fought well in the sprint home for second. Who Dat Singa went to the front, slowed the pace, got a break on straightening and held on quite well for third. Favourite Universal Law was seventh on the rails, switched deep into clear running on turning for home and kept battling on, without looking dangerous, for (2.3 lengths) seventh, being unsuited by the slow early tempo.
