Progressive Adam Durant-trained gelding Come Play With Me is now the winner of four of his last five starts after advancing to take out his first stakes victory in 15 starts here. He settled nicely back in fifth place, behind a good early tempo before improving from the 600m. He then came with a well-timed bid, took the lead halfway down the straight then went on to score impressively. State Prosecutor raced back in eighth place, tracked the eventual winner from the 600m, challenged nearing the 100m and then fought gamely second. Frosty Heart was a handy fourth, challenged at the home turn and then battled on to hold third.
