The George Osborne-trained three-year-old gelding Eastern Pegasus was a surprise $51 winner but he did so quite impressively. Resuming here at his third race start after being gelded and some gear changes, he travelled well in third place on the rails, got through on the inner at the 300m and then raced away to score easily by just over four lengths.
