After placings in three of his first five starts, three-year-old gelding Crystal Kingdom scored a good win here. Having his second run this preparation, he showed good pace to lead and then remained away from the inside rails, travelling comfortably in the conditions. He then held a good break in the straight, going wider on the affecting going and then went on to win easily.
