The Gai Waterhouse-trained filly forever Loved made a good winning debut. She began well and raced behind the leader. She was eased across heels on turning for home, raced a little greenly and took a moment to pick up, but then ran on well to score an easy two and a quarter length win. She looks promising and also seems suited to further. Senior Council raced outside the leader, took a narrow lead at the 200m mark and battled on quite well for second. Onadowntowntrain led the field to the 200m and just lasted to take third in front on the late-closing Just A Blur who ran on well for a sound fourth. *ANZ
