Viascon was smartly away from her inside barrier and led before easing when challenged nearing the 600m. She was then blocked in the straight, until getting a split nearing the 100m and she then sprinted through to win narrowly but well. Ravenwitch was outside the leader, went to the front at the 100m, only to be grabbed nearing the post to finish second. Romantic Time was midfield, wide with cover, moved up deep coming to the turn and fought on quite well for third. The favourite Wedding was ridden patiently, settled eighth one off the rails, moved up very wide at the turn and kept fighting on for fourth (1.2 lengths), the Godolphin-raced filly looking suited to further.
