Three-year-old filly Way Too Good was quickly away and then settled nicely outside the leader (Sanaya) travelling at a moderate tempo in the small field. The pace picked up as she moved up well approaching the home turn. She got to the front at the 200m and went on to score quite well, her second win in eight starts to date. Chris Waller-trained Sanaya went to the front, battled back well when challenged, only tiring late, but still held on to take second going quite well on debut.
