All Too Hard@vinery (0sc)
In a three-way finish, the Peter and Paul Snowden-trained colt Hypnotist did well in winning, albeit narrowly, maintaining his unbeaten record in three starts after wins at the Newcastle Belmont track. He settled in third place, moved up at the 600m, challenged at the 200m and fought a bit too well to win in a photo. Uncle Rodriguez was third early on before making a quick move to lead at the 1200m. He got a break on straightening and then fought very well for a good second while the David Payne-trained filly All Too Soon caught the eye running after being in sixth place (wide out) at the 400m for a late-closing third, in a promising effort at her second race start
