Fastlane Karting Plate
A trio of smart fillies made their debut here with Godolphin’s Elessedil winning impressively. She began well, travelled nicely outside the leader (Glamour Cruise), got the upper hand on passing the 200m and then drew away to score easily. She looks a good filly with a bright future. The Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott-trained Glamour Cruise was quickly away, went to the front and held the lead until the 200m before holding on well for second. The Peter and Paul Snowden-trained Sangita settled in fifth place, one off the rails, got a split and went to third at the home turn and then kept battling on nicely to hold the minor placing. She looks a stylish filly that should be improved by the experience and will also appreciate further.
