Despite running to the outside fence in the straight Tiarazou proved way too good to score well in smart time. Tiarazou raced on the outside of the leader, she wobbled around the home turn and then veered sharply to the outside fence. She scored readily and would have obviously won by much further if she raced truly in the straight. Samaready’s half sister Samarmeteors was sound on debut, she raced in third and worked home solidly in the straight to finish second with the winner a long way out of her sight on the outside fence. *ANZ
