Royal Snitzel followed up her easy debut win at Donald on 19 June with a good win here. She was smartly away and travelled nicely outside the leader (Berlutti). She put pressure to that runner at the 300m, went to the front at the 100m and then fought gamely to score well by half a length. The favourite Zeletto settled in a good spot, fifth one off the rails. He was giving the leader about four lengths as he commenced his run on turning for home, got to third at the 200m and continued to finish well to take second, beaten half a length. Berlutti showed good pace leading the field until half way down the straight and just lasted to hold third place in a photo from the late-finishing Tan Tat Sun who caught the eye running on well from tenth at the 400m for a promising fourth on debut. *ANZ
