Sebrikka followed her first-up win in a Two-Year-Old Handicap (1000m) at Ballarat on 18 May with another good win, stepping up in class here. She again settled back in the field, was tenth (between runners) nearing the home turn, got a split at the field fanned wide and kept running on resolutely over the final stages to score a very good win. She looks a smart filly who will be suited to further. Wazzenme settled in fourth place from his good barrier (2) before continuing along the rails to take the lead on straightening. He was only overtaken nearing the post for a good second. Havildar was fifth, between runners, went through to second halfway down the straight and the battled well to hold the minor placing. Armedanddangerous, backed at long odds, ran a bold race. He showed pace to lead, went deep rounding the home turn and held on well for a promising (2.1 lengths) fourth at his second race start.
