Peter Moody-trained three-year-old Admirabeel scored good win here on debut. He settled nicely in third place, following a good tempo, before improving along the rails from the 600m to be second on straightening. He was under riding to challenge at the 200m and kept responding well, going on to score in a solid performance. He looks suited to further still and looks quite promising. Mick Kent trained four-year-old Leodoro, having his first race start, showed good pace to take the early lead and then ran along at a good tempo, tiring late for second in a bold debut run.
