A strong staying performance by Shoreham who enjoyed a lovely run three back on the fence in fifth position in the run. He over-raced a little early on in the race but settled better when the pace went on mid race. He improved his position approaching the home turn switching off the fence and then across heels to be in the clear on straightening. He wound up with a strong finish on the outside and drew right away to score a widening three and a half length win. *ANZ
