Surf Coast Limo Bus Mdn Plate
Damien Oliver returned with a first-up winner riding the Mick Price-trained Lion Of Belfort. The colt settled one out and one back in fourth spot before improving three wide nearing the home turn. He took the lead at the 200m and then raced away to win by four lengths, being eased down approaching the post. It was only his second start, after his recent debut second at this track, and he looks very promising. First starter Revelio was trapped three wide without cover from his outside barrier (8). He moved up well at the 600m, was forced four wide at the home turn, put in a good run in the straight and battled on particularly well for a good second on debut. *ANZ
