The Beach Hotel Mdn
Darren Weir-trained filly Kenedna put up a very nice effort winning here at her second race start. She was quickly away and then worked a bit before crossing to the lead. She then settled particularly well, lifted gamely when challenged on straightening and drew clear in the closing stages to score well. She looks an honest filly with a good future. The Mick Pricetrained Tailored settled in sixth place, between runners, before switching to the rails on turning for home. He challenged strongly at the 100m, despite racing a bit greenly, and then battled well for a promising second on debut.
