Lindsay Park-trained filly Misty Rock, racing in blinkers for the first time, did well in winning here at her second race start. She settled nicely in fifth place (on the rails) before improving along the inner on turning for home, continued along the rails to hit the front at the 100m and went on to win well. It was also a good ride by apprentice Fred Kersley.
