Three-year-old gelding Lofty’s Menu won well here on debut. He raced back in eighth place, one off the rails, travelling well. He angled between runners as the field turned for home, put in a good run half-way down the straight and drew clear in the latter stages to score a good win, by a length at the post. He looks suited to further looks capable of progressing to better things. *ANZ
