Chris Waller-trained filly Ciarlet resumed at her third race start to score impressively, even if she only defeated five rivals. She was smartly away and retained the inside running, sharing the lead, despite some early pressure, before drawing to a clear advantage approaching the home turn. She then raced right away in the straight to score by a big margin, being eased down nearing the post. She is a horse to watch.
