Consistent four-year-old sprinter Curfew scored a good first-up win. He drove through from his good barrier (2) and soon led. He then settled nicely, establishing a sound pace. He grabbed a break on turning for home and was untroubled from there on to score by two lengths, sprinting home his final 600m in 34.53.
