The John Sargent-trained three-year-old Ziggy Willie followed encouraging seconds at his first two starts with an easy win here. He settled nicely outside the leader, moved up easily rounding the home turn before taking the lead at the 200m. He then dashed clear and went on to win impressively by just over two lengths. It was a smart effort and he looks very promising.
