Three-year-old filly Swift Lady has now won two of her five starts and scored in good style here, albeit in a small six-horse field. She was quickly away then eased to race behind the leader (Idyllic Scenery), travelling at a steady tempo. She moved up to challenge at the 200m and then raced away to win easily by just over two lengths. The favourite Brewery raced outside the leader, he got to a narrow lead at the 200m but just battled from that point, holding on for second, having no chance with the winner, whom he conceded 4kg.
