Locally trained mare Isibaeva ($17) followed three successive seconds at this track, since resuming on 1 December, to take out this Group Three event. She settled fourth on the rails from her inside barrier (1) and gained a great run at the home turn when a number of her rivals went wide. She took the lead at the 200m and drew clear to score nicely by a length and a quarter. Miss Stellabelle was seventh on the rails, got a good run through at the turn and kept making ground to just take second from the third-placed, Peter Moody-trained mare Kneeling, who had been handy all the way. The favourite Rebel Bride ($3), a winner of this event the previous two years, settled back in sixth place, moved up well (wide) from the 600m and kept running on in the centre of the track for fourth, beaten a length and a half. *ANZ
