Two smart fillies fought out this Listed race, clearly proving superior to their rivals with the winner and firm favourite Hot Dipped now remaining unbeaten in all three runs this preparation. She began well and settled in fourth place, behind a muddling tempo (first 1000m 64.72) and was shuffled back to seventh at the 600m. She switched deeper at the home turn, challenged at the 100m and finished a bit too well to score gamely. Life On The Wire settled nicely outside the leader (Gee Gee Rich Ruby), was third in the mid-stages before moving up nearing the 600m.
