Classy filly Mystic Journey took her imposing record to eight wins from 11 starts with another smart performance in winning here. She settled back in last place in the seven-horse field, commenced a wide move at the 600m, switched to the outside rail (looking for better going) on straightening and finished too well to score impressively by a halflength at the post. The well-performed Hellova Street raced outside the leader, went to the front nearing the home turn and fought gamely for second, just finding the filly whom he conceded 5.5kg too good. Chamois Road raced near the tail of the field and made ground in the straight to take third.
