The Jason Coyle-trained filly Freeze The Charges was impressive winning here, resuming after her debut eighth to Earthquake (Exceed And Excel) in a Two-Year-Old Plate (1000m) at Randwick 12 months ago. She began well from her outside barrier (11) and after working a bit in the early stages, crossed to the lead. She then ran along at a solid tempo, dashed well clear on turning for home and then went on to win with something in hand by just under four lengths in quick time (56.83).
