The Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott-trained colt Red Zephyr broke through for his first win in seven starts, doing so in good style in scoring here. Having his third run this preparation, he began well, went to the front and then travelling along well at a good tempo. He held a good break on straightening and then went on to win well.
