Gerald Ryan-trained three-year-old Omar scored a really smart win, resuming at his second race start after being gelded. He was quickly away and went to the front. Racing in blinkers for the first time, he then set a good tempo, grabbed a break on straightening before going on to score easily. He looks set to progress to better things.
