After seconds at his first two starts, the Darren Weir-trained colt Choisborder broke through for a good win here, albeit by the barest of margins. He began well and soon settled outside the leader (Seized) but raced a bit keenly when the mid-raced pace slowed, before challenging rounding the home turn. Then after quite a battle in the straight, he fought a bit too well to score a game win in a photo with Seized fighting back for a close second.
