Three-year-old filly Anaphora scored a very good first- up. She settled well back from her outside barrier (15) and was near the tail of the field before making a wide run from the 600m. She challenged wide out rounding the home turn, took the lead at the 100m and went on to win impressively by just over two lengths. She looks suited to further and is quite promising.
