Redoute’s Princess looks the makings of a handy stayer in scoring her first win in six starts to date. She was slowly away from her inside barrier (1) and settled well in ninth place on the rails. She improved between runners nearing the home turn, got a split at the 200m and battled on resolutely to win in a photo. Another three-year old filly Lemon Crush was last to the home turn, switched deep and into clear running at the 200m before running on for a late-closing and unlucky second.
