Lindsay Park-trained three-year-old gelding Bellboy Express put up a promising effort in scoring his first win at his third start, beating older rivals here. He was slow to move, settled in second last place in the seven-horse field before getting a split rounding the home turn. He then finished a bit too well, after taking sometime to wind-up, to score nicely. He should appreciate further.
