Equiano-King Of Speed (Rs0mw)

Age: 2yo WT: 56kg Type: NMW

Top weight (59kg) Stingray settled in a good spot, just behind the leaders, travelling nicely. He was blocked in the early part of the straight, got into the clear at the 200m and then finished well to score by a length, his second successive win. He is a neat colt that looks likely to progress to better things. Theycallmethehoff showed good pace to lead and set the pace until the closing stages and held on for a sound second on debut. The Colin Little-trained filly Domino Vitale did not show any early pace and settled in last place in the nine-horse field. She commenced a run nearing the 400m and caught the eye running on late into third place, putting up a good effort on debut. *ANZ
