The Grand Hotel Frankston Mdn
Darren Weir-trained filly Deal With It built on two promising runner-up efforts to score a good win here. She was quickly away and then settled nicely outside the leader (Blue Money) before putting some pressure on that horse at the 400m. She then kept battling away well, gradually proving a bit too strong over the 1400m to win clearly at the end and looked suited to further still. Team Hawkes-trained filly Blue Money looked to still be going well halfway down the straight and only faded in the closing stages for second.
