Yarramalong Racing Club Mdn
Both first and second in this race look promising fillies. After placings in three of her first five starts, Summer Wind broke through with a good win here. She was quickly away from her inside barrier (1) and after leading the early stages, eased to race in second place. She moved up strongly nearing the home turn, easily took the lead at the 300m and then held on to win well while the Danny O’Brien-trained filly That Rings A Bell made a promising debut in running second. She settled back in eighth place, looked for a run between runners on straightening, got a split at the 200m and caught the eye with her late-closing second.
