The Darren Weir-trained filly Costa Bomb followed her third in a 3Y0 Fillies’ Maiden (1012m) at Yarra Glen on 29 December with a good win here. She was slowly away but soon recovered to settle in fifth place on the rails. She improved between runners nearing the home turn, challenged strongly at the 200m and then finished too well to score well.
